I have been in business for over 35 years and my shop is at 234 Wade Road Liberty NY 12754 Tel is 845-436-7884: I learned my Trade the old Fashinoned way I was an apprentice for 5 years and learned all the intricate aspects of the Upholstery trade. My teacher was an ex Isreali Soldier Eliezer Muller and he knew a lot of Old World Technique that he taught me that I found facinating and challenging.

I then started my own shop which was my Kitchen Table and a dream. I cut the fabric on the floor on my hands and knees and did not have a staple gun so I learned to spit tacks. Little by little my business grew and evntually I ended up with a good sized shop with all the modern equipment needed to stay competitive and efficient.

In the following pages I will show you examples of some of my work and try to make the site interesting to the viewer.

Today with the influx of cheap furniture being mass produced in factories in our Country and China it is hard to compete between buying new or Re-Upholstering a piece. With the price of Materials and supplies sky- rocketing I believe that I am a dying breed like the Shoe Maker and other old world craftsman.

I still get people that want and Old piece redone and when someone call for information the first thing I ask is how old the Piece is? My rule of thumb is if it is less then 10 years old it is not cost effective to reupholster. Older and antique furniture is the only pieces that are worth the investment. When you get piece that is 30- 100 years old chance are it will last another generation after I re-upholster and recondition the piece. It also retains it's value and is a good investment.

So if you have an older piece that needs work, I'm your man. If it's a newer piece simply replace it with another modern piece of furniture.
